Baby Photography Surrey {Freya – 7 months}

Meet cute baby Freya. A little shy when she arrived for her portrait sitter session… but interested in what was going on around her. We gave her a bit of time to relax, mum then changed her into her first sweet little dress and we were ready for her baby shoot. I have mentioned before that this is our absolute favourite age for baby photography. Sitting up unaided, cute smiles, laughs, quizzical looks – you get it all. We certainly got it all that from Freya with assistance from mum and dad on the sidelines trying to elicit her beautiful smile!

It was an enjoyable shoot and we thought the images captured her personality brilliantly.

We got newborn photographs done with Rob and Karen, they were really accommodating to fit us in at short notice prior to 2 weeks since birth, as they mentioned the sooner the better for these sort of photos. We came into their home studio and were immediately at ease. They explained the process taking on board some of things we wanted and got to work! Our little one didn't want to sleep initially (although we also loved the awake photos they got), but as a team they worked with her, keeping her calm, then got her to sleep and that's when they stepped up the speed! Between them, they worked well for clothes changes/setting changes keeping baby asleep and it was truly a pleasure to watch professionals at their craft. Cut to receiving to the photos which was around about 2 weeks fully edited, we are delighted with the results! Of course cost may be a consideration for some for such photos but we considered it fair for the quality received. Delighted with the outcome and we would recommend it for newborn photos! We are also aware they do other photos for babies/children and would not hesitate to use them in the future!

It's a family run business and the couple who do the baby photo shoots are absolutely lovely. We used them before as well for our first child and came back to them again for our second. They make you feel comfortable and you know your child is in good hands while they get them ready for different poses. They are very professional, friendly and flexible. I'd highly recommend Karen and Rob having attended for a newborn photoshoot which also featured a family shot with our two other toddlers. Karen and Rob were fantastic at engaging our older children whilst ensuring they got those all important shots which we will cherish as parents for years to come and our children once they are older. We booked the Baby Plan (3 shoots) and chose the maternity, new born and sitter sessions. Neither of us likes having our photos taken but we wanted to make sure we captured this time of our and our baby's life in a unique but personal way and they delivered!
