Cake Smash One Year Old {Jada}

This little lovely is Jada.  She thoroughly enjoyed her cake smash to mark her first year!  It’s so funny to photograph – when presented with the cake, the little ones give a sideways glance to their parents to seek approval for tucking into their birthday cake with their hands!  They commence with some reservation, but soon gain momentum and dig right in 🙂  Jada managed to get cake in her hair as well as everywhere else for that matter.  Look at that cheeky little grin 🙂

We took some pictures of Jada in a couple of different outfits before changing her into her party/cake smash dress.  She really was a sweetheart and I know mum and dad will treasure these pictures.

It’s difficult to keep a one-year-old stationery in a home studio – but having a cake smash session does just that.   Keeps them in one spot for a while…and it certainly gets them smiling, as you can see.
