Today’s adorable bundle is Lilia. Lilia’s arrival was eagerly awaited by parents, Anna and Davide. Lilia was due before Christmas, but let Mum and Dad enjoy their Christmas and New Year. Baby Lilia made her arrival when things had settled down on 6th January… but was 10 days old by the day of her newborn photo shoot. It was lovely to see Anna and Davide again, and to meet with baby Lilia. We photographed Anna and Davide a couple of months beforehand for their maternity shoot and got some great baby bump pictures on that day.

Apart from being a little tired (an unavoidable side effect of being a new parent) Anna, Davide and Lilia were all doing really well. Lilia loved to be all wrapped up snug so that was what we did to keep her happy for most of the photo session. When she drifted off to sleep, we were able to unwrap her to see her little hands and feet too.

Magical maternity shoot!I recently had the pleasure of doing a maternity photoshoot with my family, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and enjoyable. I have been meaning to write this review for a while, but I never had a spare moment! I found Baby Shoots Photography online after a thorough search for baby photographers. This business stood out to me purely because of their reviews as well as having the most professional and gorgeous photos on their instagram account (which you should totally follow!). I was a little anxious at first as I had a previous photographer for all my baby/family photoshoots who we were so loyal too, but unfortunately for us, she undertook a new venture! However, the anxiety quickly disappeared when Karen and Rob took time to listen to what I wanted and reassured me that they would do their absolute best to meet my needs with such patience and kindness.Karen and Rob did such a wonderful job for us (back in February this year). Karen was so good at setting the scene with variety of warm colours whilst Rob took some beautiful, heart-warming photos. I truly had tears of joy with the outcome, and I am very much looking forward to working with them again, particularly when our bubba turns one! I hope to see them both again soon.

We got newborn photographs done with Rob and Karen, they were really accommodating to fit us in at short notice prior to 2 weeks since birth, as they mentioned the sooner the better for these sort of photos. We came into their home studio and were immediately at ease. They explained the process taking on board some of things we wanted and got to work! Our little one didn't want to sleep initially (although we also loved the awake photos they got), but as a team they worked with her, keeping her calm, then got her to sleep and that's when they stepped up the speed! Between them, they worked well for clothes changes/setting changes keeping baby asleep and it was truly a pleasure to watch professionals at their craft. Cut to receiving to the photos which was around about 2 weeks fully edited, we are delighted with the results! Of course cost may be a consideration for some for such photos but we considered it fair for the quality received. Delighted with the outcome and we would recommend it for newborn photos! We are also aware they do other photos for babies/children and would not hesitate to use them in the future!

It's a family run business and the couple who do the baby photo shoots are absolutely lovely. We used them before as well for our first child and came back to them again for our second. I'd highly recommend Karen and Rob having attended for a newborn photoshoot which also featured a family shot with our two other toddlers. Karen and Rob were fantastic at engaging our older children whilst ensuring they got those all important shots which we will cherish as parents for years to come and our children once they are older.
