Jo and Tim live in Maidenbower, Crawley and wanted a local newborn photographer in Sussex. With the Baby Shoots photo studio being based in Copthorne, what could be more perfect – our studio is literally just 10 mins away!

So without further ado, let us introduce you to sweet baby William. Jo and Tim brought their gorgeous new arrival to see us when he was just five days old. Of course, at the perfect age of 5 days old, William slept like a dream. Although we do offer newborn photoshoots for babies up to two weeks old, our ideal time is around 5-7 days old if at all possible. And William is the perfect example of just why we do this – being such a sleepy little boy after his journey to the outside world!

During a newborn portraits session, we generally use a number of different wraps and outfits to help pose baby. This allows us to create a variety of different looks for your newborn portraits. However, this also means we need to be super-careful to not disturb baby’s precious sleep while changing outfits! Transitioning between different outfit changes didn’t disturb this little lad’s slumber. He slept so well, and let us take lots of beautiful newborn portraits for Mum & Dad. He did wake for a feed, as is usual… but was very quickly settled by Mum and off to another blissful nap. Just how we like it!
