To start, I have to apologise as there has been no time left in our busy schedule to post to our blog! We have been extremely busy. Obviously, delivering images to our clients comes first. Then, we try to keep up with social media posts (Facebook and Instagram). Consequently, that leaves little time for blogging.

However, today I want to show you some sweet pictures of Anaya. Anaya’s parents who live in Crawley came to see us for Anaya’s newborn portraits when she was 11 days old. This precious little girl was born weighing 6lb 9oz and is still just a petite little thing… with the most amazing head of hair already! Anaya slept soundly which of course meant that we were able to tackle some more challenging poses and she didn’t mind at all.

I think you’ll agree she is a little sweetie!

I cannot recommend Rob and Karen from Baby shoots enough! They recently photographed my 10-day-old baby girl, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly accommodating, allowing me to feed and settle my little one to ensure she was comfortable and relaxed for the shoot. Their patience and understanding made all the difference, creating a stress-free and enjoyable session.

Rob and Karen are not only warm, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to talk to, but they are also incredibly talented photographers with a true gift for newborn photography. They have an impeccable eye for composition, lighting, and posing, ensuring that every image is artistically framed and naturally lit to perfection. Their use of soft, diffused lighting beautifully highlighted my baby’s delicate features, and their gentle posing techniques ensured she was comfortable throughout.

The attention to detail in their work is remarkable. They captured those fleeting, precious moments with an incredible mix of macro close-ups—showcasing tiny fingers, delicate eyelashes, and chubby little toes—alongside beautifully composed full-body shots. The depth of field in their images created a dreamy, ethereal effect, making each photograph feel timeless and full of emotion.

Even before booking, Karen and Rob were quick at responding and answered any questions in detail to ensure we booked for exactly what we wanted. On arrival they were very friendly and accommodating, which for us who have never had professional photos done nor normally like our pictures taken, made us as a family more relaxed. They were very patient and helpful when explaining poses and overall was a very pleasant experience to be a part of and watch. We left feeling confident our photos would be nothing but perfect and couldn't wait to see them. The turn around from the day of the photos to receiving the final edits wasn't too bad either, and worth the wait. We were blown away by the results, and the 4k video was a bonus. We now have beautiful pictures we will treasure forever and cannot thank Rob and Karen at Baby Shoots enough for capturing these precious memories. They were very relaxed when my 15 month old was playing with the set and we wasn’t rushed out the door like some photographers I’ve heard about. They also make a real effort to have the two sets beautifully laid out. Will be going back next year.

Magical maternity shoot!

I recently had the pleasure of doing a maternity photoshoot with my family, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and enjoyable. Karen and Rob were incredibly professional, warm and welcoming, immediately putting us all at ease.

They suggested beautiful poses that highlighted my wife’s pregnancy glow while also capturing the love and excitement of our family. They also knew exactly how to keep the kids engaged, making it fun for everyone involved!

The final images exceeded all of our expectations. Every photo was exceptionally beautifully, with stunning lighting and incredible attention to detail. We now have a set of timeless memories that we’ll cherish forever. We can’t wait to come back for our newborn shoot!

I have been meaning to write this review for a while, but I never had a spare moment! I found Baby Shoots Photography online after a thorough search for baby photographers. This business stood out to me purely because of their reviews as well as having the most professional and gorgeous photos on their instagram account (which you should totally follow!). I was a little anxious at first as I had a previous photographer for all my baby/family photoshoots who we were so loyal too, but unfortunately for us, she undertook a new venture! However, the anxiety quickly disappeared when Karen and Rob took time to listen to what I wanted and reassured me that they would do their absolute best to meet my needs with such patience and kindness.

Karen and Rob did such a wonderful job for us (back in February this year). Karen was so good at setting the scene with variety of warm colours whilst Rob took some beautiful, heart-warming photos. I truly had tears of joy with the outcome, and I am very much looking forward to working with them again, particularly when our bubba turns one! I hope to see them both again soon.

We got newborn photographs done with Rob and Karen, they were really accommodating to fit us in at short notice prior to 2 weeks since birth, as they mentioned the sooner the better for these sort of photos. We came into their home studio and were immediately at ease. They explained the process taking on board some of things we wanted and got to work! Our little one didn't want to sleep initially (although we also loved the awake photos they got), but as a team they worked with her, keeping her calm, then got her to sleep and that's when they stepped up the speed! Between them, they worked well for clothes changes/setting changes keeping baby asleep and it was truly a pleasure to watch professionals at their craft. Cut to receiving to the photos which was around about 2 weeks fully edited, we are delighted with the results! Of course cost may be a consideration for some for such photos but we considered it fair for the quality received. Delighted with the outcome and we would recommend it for newborn photos! We are also aware they do other photos for babies/children and would not hesitate to use them in the future!

We booked the Baby Plan (3 shoots) and chose the maternity, new born and sitter sessions. Neither of us likes having our photos taken but we wanted to make sure we captured this time of our and our baby's life in a unique but personal way and they delivered! From the very start Rob and Karen made us feel comfortable and were very professional. We cannot recommend them highly enough!! Having been so happy with our first born photoshoot we had no hesitation in returning to Rob and Karen with our second. This time we opted for the 1 hour long session. It did not disappoint!
