Today we’d like to introduce you to an exceeding cute little bundle called Samuel. Samuel visited our home studio with his Mum, Hanna, and Dad, James. Samuel was exactly 10 days old on the day of his newborn shoot. We were very pleased to find him to be relaxed and sleeping throughout the session. With the exception of a quick feed and change midway through, Samuel was an absolute poppet to work with.

Don’t you just LOVE that cute little face? Which is your favourite picture from the set we’re showing today? During a typical newborn photo session (if there is such a thing) we take many pictures. However, our aim is to create a beautiful gallery of newborn portraits, with every single image worthy of hanging on a wall. The newborn photos we show here are just a small selection from each of the photo shoots. We post these to show what we do, and so you can get a good idea of the type of images we create during each newborn session. Of course, every session is always different! Consequently, we always have a few new favourites from each newborn session.

For me, today’s favourite is the first image we’re showing today. Doesn’t Samuel just look SO angelic! You can definitely see where the phrase “sleeping like a baby” comes from… even if it’s not always quite like that during the session!

We got newborn photographs done with Rob and Karen, they were really accommodating to fit us in at short notice prior to 2 weeks since birth, as they mentioned the sooner the better for these sort of photos. We came into their home studio and were immediately at ease. They explained the process taking on board some of things we wanted and got to work! Our little one didn't want to sleep initially (although we also loved the awake photos they got), but as a team they worked with her, keeping her calm, then got her to sleep and that's when they stepped up the speed! Between them, they worked well for clothes changes/setting changes keeping baby asleep and it was truly a pleasure to watch professionals at their craft. Cut to receiving to the photos which was around about 2 weeks fully edited, we are delighted with the results! Of course cost may be a consideration for some for such photos but we considered it fair for the quality received. Delighted with the outcome and we would recommend it for newborn photos! We are also aware they do other photos for babies/children and would not hesitate to use them in the future!

It's a family run business and the couple who do the baby photo shoots are absolutely lovely. We used them before as well for our first child and came back to them again for our second. They make you feel comfortable and you know your child is in good hands while they get them ready for different poses. They are very professional, friendly and flexible. I'd highly recommend Karen and Rob having attended for a newborn photoshoot which also featured a family shot with our two other toddlers. Karen and Rob were fantastic at engaging our older children whilst ensuring they got those all important shots which we will cherish as parents for years to come and our children once they are older. I was particularly impressed by how many different shots we managed to get in what seemed like a very short frame of time - they truly are very skilled at what they do and as a customer you could not ask for more when wanting to capture that shortlived, fleeting newborn period.Our family and friends have loved the pictures we have shared and the passion Rob and Karen have for their craft really does come across in the pictures they capture so beautifully, thank you!

What can I say - absolutely amazing from start to finish - Rob and Karen made us feel so welcome and comfortable from the moment we stepped in - they are so professional and we literally listened to every word they said and how to stand - pose and what would look great in the photos - my partner went out of her comfort zone trusting what they said would look nice and she is so happy she did the pictures turned out much better than we could imagine - this was our maternity photoshoot and we have booked the newborn shoot also for when our little one is here and cannot wait to go back - 5 starts isn’t enough for Babyshoots

We booked the Baby Plan (3 shoots) and chose the maternity, new born and sitter sessions. Neither of us likes having our photos taken but we wanted to make sure we captured this time of our and our baby's life in a unique but personal way and they delivered! I am a shy person so was nervous about having maternity photos taken, however I am so glad that I booked with Baby Shoots photography and now we have amazing photos to treasure forever. We visited Baby Shoots in April 2021 with our 10 day old son for a New Born shoot and were very pleased with the entire Experience.Rob and Karen were very welcoming and made the whole experience really enjoyable.Our baby was handled expertly and gently and kept warm and happy whilst being dressed in different cute outfits.There are so many props and options and we were extremely happy with the pictures we received.Our only problem is we can’t decide which ones to put up as they’re all fantastic. A pretty good problem to have!We’ll definitely be back and can’t recommend this company enough.

I was really impressed with the service we received. I was a little apprehensive on how the mini photo shoot would go with an active 1 year old and a shy 4 year old. The photographer engaged really well with my children and managed to capture some beautiful shots of them both.
