We were happy to be the newborn photographer for a lovely couple from Reigate in Surrey today. Our bundle of joy is little sweetie, Isla. Isla is 10 days old and came into the big world weight 7lb and 15oz. We met Isla’s mum and dad at Mamas and Papas in Croydon where they were doing some last-minute shopping for their new arrival. We were there for an open day. They had already booked our services and they hadn’t realised we would be there so it was a surprise meeting. It was lovely to spend time chatting and getting to know them a little. How lovely to see them again when they had welcomed Isla Rae into their lives. Mum was looking well and of course, Isla was a healthy weight at 7lb, 15 and doing wonderfully.

Little Isla was asleep throughout, with the exception of her scheduled feed. She didn’t waste much time falling back to sleep afterward. We always allow plenty of time to ensure that bubbas are fed, changed and cuddled and fall back off to sleep naturally during a photoshoot. There’s no rush. Everything is done at the baby’s pace and with their happiness key to the whole process.

Booked a Christmas mini session for my daughter’s first Christmas. Very friendly husband and wife from start to finish and didn’t feel rushed as I had to give my 4 month old a bottle during the session. We got newborn photographs done with Rob and Karen, they were really accommodating to fit us in at short notice prior to 2 weeks since birth, as they mentioned the sooner the better for these sort of photos. We came into their home studio and were immediately at ease. They explained the process taking on board some of things we wanted and got to work! Our little one didn't want to sleep initially (although we also loved the awake photos they got), but as a team they worked with her, keeping her calm, then got her to sleep and that's when they stepped up the speed! Between them, they worked well for clothes changes/setting changes keeping baby asleep and it was truly a pleasure to watch professionals at their craft. Cut to receiving to the photos which was around about 2 weeks fully edited, we are delighted with the results! Of course cost may be a consideration for some for such photos but we considered it fair for the quality received. Delighted with the outcome and we would recommend it for newborn photos! We are also aware they do other photos for babies/children and would not hesitate to use them in the future!

It's a family run business and the couple who do the baby photo shoots are absolutely lovely. We used them before as well for our first child and came back to them again for our second. They make you feel comfortable and you know your child is in good hands while they get them ready for different poses. They are very professional, friendly and flexible. I'd highly recommend Karen and Rob having attended for a newborn photoshoot which also featured a family shot with our two other toddlers. Karen and Rob were fantastic at engaging our older children whilst ensuring they got those all important shots which we will cherish as parents for years to come and our children once they are older. I was particularly impressed by how many different shots we managed to get in what seemed like a very short frame of time - they truly are very skilled at what they do and as a customer you could not ask for more when wanting to capture that shortlived, fleeting newborn period.Our family and friends have loved the pictures we have shared and the passion Rob and Karen have for their craft really does come across in the pictures they capture so beautifully, thank you!

We booked the Baby Plan (3 shoots) and chose the maternity, new born and sitter sessions. Neither of us likes having our photos taken but we wanted to make sure we captured this time of our and our baby's life in a unique but personal way and they delivered!
