Surrey Newborn Photography Epsom {Trai – 4 days old}

This gorgeous tiny newborn boy was just 4 days old when he came for his newborn shoot.  He was a very tired baby!  We generally wait until babies are at least 5 days old before taking their newborn photos.  This session was booked at short notice during a busy spell.  Consequently, Trai came to us earlier than we would normally suggest.  Being so young, Trai slept throughout the session, just stopping very briefly for some milk.  The shoot was testament to the fact that the earlier they come the better they sleep.  At their viewing session a couple of weeks later, Mum commented that Trai was so much more awake by then.  She realised that a newborn shoot would have been more difficult only a week later!  As it was, Trai was adorable – as you can see from his photographs!  We often ask parents to bring a dummy to the session: this was one occasion when we didn’t one.

Mum and dad came from Epsom to our home studio in Copthorne (border of Surrey and West Sussex).  It was a delight to meet this young family and we know little Trai will bring them such happiness – once they get over sleepless nights! 😉
