Today’s newborn photography features 13 day old baby Joshua.

Mum Lelde, requested pictures of Joshua with his sister, Olivia, and family shots of them all together. Testament to previous posts, it was Joshua’s sibling who proved the more challenging to photograph since a two year old doesn’t like to be sitting/laying in one position for too long!

That being said, Rob and I managed to capture all the baby pictures Mum wanted, and when she smiled, Olivia had a very beautiful smile. This post however, is focused on the gorgeous little newborn boy Joshua, who is just so cute and slept ‘like a baby’ allowing us to pose him well and take a series shots of beautiful newborn photos of him in different hats and using a variety of different ultra-cute baby photograpy props.

Very friendly husband and wife from start to finish and didn’t feel rushed as I had to give my 4 month old a bottle during the session. We got newborn photographs done with Rob and Karen, they were really accommodating to fit us in at short notice prior to 2 weeks since birth, as they mentioned the sooner the better for these sort of photos. We came into their home studio and were immediately at ease. They explained the process taking on board some of things we wanted and got to work! Our little one didn't want to sleep initially (although we also loved the awake photos they got), but as a team they worked with her, keeping her calm, then got her to sleep and that's when they stepped up the speed! Between them, they worked well for clothes changes/setting changes keeping baby asleep and it was truly a pleasure to watch professionals at their craft. Cut to receiving to the photos which was around about 2 weeks fully edited, we are delighted with the results! Of course cost may be a consideration for some for such photos but we considered it fair for the quality received. Delighted with the outcome and we would recommend it for newborn photos! We are also aware they do other photos for babies/children and would not hesitate to use them in the future!

It's a family run business and the couple who do the baby photo shoots are absolutely lovely. We used them before as well for our first child and came back to them again for our second. They make you feel comfortable and you know your child is in good hands while they get them ready for different poses. They are very professional, friendly and flexible. I'd highly recommend Karen and Rob having attended for a newborn photoshoot which also featured a family shot with our two other toddlers. Karen and Rob were fantastic at engaging our older children whilst ensuring they got those all important shots which we will cherish as parents for years to come and our children once they are older. I was particularly impressed by how many different shots we managed to get in what seemed like a very short frame of time - they truly are very skilled at what they do and as a customer you could not ask for more when wanting to capture that shortlived, fleeting newborn period.Our family and friends have loved the pictures we have shared and the passion Rob and Karen have for their craft really does come across in the pictures they capture so beautifully, thank you!

What can I say - absolutely amazing from start to finish - Rob and Karen made us feel so welcome and comfortable from the moment we stepped in - they are so professional and we literally listened to every word they said and how to stand - pose and what would look great in the photos - my partner went out of her comfort zone trusting what they said would look nice and she is so happy she did the pictures turned out much better than we could imagine - this was our maternity photoshoot and we have booked the newborn shoot also for when our little one is here and cannot wait to go back - 5 starts isn’t enough for Babyshoots

We booked the Baby Plan (3 shoots) and chose the maternity, new born and sitter sessions. Neither of us likes having our photos taken but we wanted to make sure we captured this time of our and our baby's life in a unique but personal way and they delivered!
