Sussex newborn photographers {Amara – 10 days old)

Today we’d like to introduce you to the beautiful little Amara, who visited our Crawley baby studio for her newborn photos at 10 days old. Our ‘perfect’ age for newborn photography is generally around 5-7 days old when possible, since we’ve found this to be the best time to catch baby being really super-sleepy – but for a number of reasons we often photograph newborns up to 2 weeks old. Towards the 2 week old stage, newborns are often a little less sleepy, and can take some time to settle into the really deep sleep we’re looking for when arranging those really sleepy, curly poses – and Amara was no exception here! However, patience (as always) is the key – and once Amara drifted off to sleep we got some beautiful sleepy newborn photos for Mum and Dad which we’re pleased to say they were absolutely thrilled with.
