It was so lovely to see Maik, Jenny and daughter Amalie again…

Little Amalie had grown so much since we last saw her. We photographed Amalie as a newborn and her new baby sister, Eliza, looks just like her! You can see Amelie’s pictures here. With both ourselves and the family having moved since we last met, the guys travelled from Wimbledon to our new home studio in Copthorne, West Sussex for Eliza’s newborn shoot. Last time we did newborn photos for Maik and Jenny, Rob and I were still living in South Croydon with a smaller shooting space than we have now – so it was great to welcome the family to our new studio!

Baby Eliza was 8 days new in the world when we took her cute little newborn photos. Such a sweet little thing – she slept fairly soundly throughout and wasn’t too difficult to transition through a variety of poses. When we photographed the girls together, Amalie was also only too pleased to give her baby sister a cuddle and kiss.

It’s always especially lovely when our previous clients return for new baby photo shoots, and we’re really pleased to have a very high return rate from our current customers, who very quickly feel like old friends visiting again! It’s also lovely to see previous newborns as they grow from baby to toddler, and then on to ‘proper little people’ complete with their own very individual characters!

Many congratulations to Jenny and Maik on their new addition to already a lovely family. It was a pleasure seeing them again. 🙂

We got newborn photographs done with Rob and Karen, they were really accommodating to fit us in at short notice prior to 2 weeks since birth, as they mentioned the sooner the better for these sort of photos. We came into their home studio and were immediately at ease. They explained the process taking on board some of things we wanted and got to work! Our little one didn't want to sleep initially (although we also loved the awake photos they got), but as a team they worked with her, keeping her calm, then got her to sleep and that's when they stepped up the speed! Between them, they worked well for clothes changes/setting changes keeping baby asleep and it was truly a pleasure to watch professionals at their craft. Cut to receiving to the photos which was around about 2 weeks fully edited, we are delighted with the results! Of course cost may be a consideration for some for such photos but we considered it fair for the quality received. Delighted with the outcome and we would recommend it for newborn photos! We are also aware they do other photos for babies/children and would not hesitate to use them in the future!

It's a family run business and the couple who do the baby photo shoots are absolutely lovely. We used them before as well for our first child and came back to them again for our second. They make you feel comfortable and you know your child is in good hands while they get them ready for different poses. They are very professional, friendly and flexible. I'd highly recommend Karen and Rob having attended for a newborn photoshoot which also featured a family shot with our two other toddlers. Karen and Rob were fantastic at engaging our older children whilst ensuring they got those all important shots which we will cherish as parents for years to come and our children once they are older.
