Baby Shoots Photography provides beautiful, fine-art Sussex maternity portraits from our home studio in Copthorne Village, West Sussex. Our studio is located on the border of Sussex and Surrey, between Crawley and East Grinstead. We are just 5 minutes from junction 10 of the M23 motorway (near Gatwick).
Maternity portraits, or baby bump portraits, are the perfect way to keep a beautiful, lasting keepsake of your pregnancy. They are the perfect complement to a newborn photoshoot. Your maternity portraits can include just mum-to-be, or we can also add a few portraits with your partner if you’d like this.
Maternity portraits can be booked as a single à la carte portrait session, a maternity simple-session (with digital files included) or as part of our 3 Shoot Baby Plan.

NATURAL RETOUCHING FOR
BEAUTIFUL MATERNITY PORTRAITS
We want you to LOVE your new portraits. So, we EDIT and RETOUCH every image we show you.
Taking the images is only half the story. After we’ve taken your maternity portraits, we’ll edit and retouch every image to ensure that we’ve created the very best maternity portraits for you.
Our standard editing includes:
- All standard editing and cropping, exposure, and white balance adjustments as needed
- Removal of any erroneous props, background edges, etc
- General colour correction, and correction of skin tones
- Spot retouching and natural-looking skin retouching
- A judicious ‘nip & tuck’ where appropriate
- All photographic finishing & styling
We’re very particular about our editing process. We think it’s important to provide beautiful images with realistic skin tones and textures. We keep our editing very natural looking… but trust us, you’ll look amazing!

Sussex Maternity Portraits £75
A variety of distinct looks are included in a maternity portrait session. For a standard à la carte portrait session, we’ll create a gallery of around 20 beautiful portraits for you to choose from.
Free use of our maternity gowns is included in your session fee, and we’ll guide you every step of the way to get the very best maternity portraits for you.
For our standard à la carte Maternity Portraits session, digital images and products are sold separately so you can choose the images and products you want to buy after your session. If you’d prefer to have your digtal images included, you’ll want to check out our simple-session option instead.

We’ll work with you to create a range of images, from a beautiful, ethereal high-key look, to a set of stunning, magazine-like low-key images… and more!
Maternity Simple-Session + digital images £375

Our shorter simple-maternity portrait sessions last up to an hour and are limited to a simpler set of poses. These simple baby bump sessions include two looks with one change of outfits, and 10x digital images at no extra cost,

Our superb value baby plan includes any 3 standard portrait sessions, PLUS you’ll also receive a Free Luxury Heirloom Print Box worth £450 including up to 20 professionally printed and mounted images after your third portrait session is completed!
Our Heirloom folio boxes are our most popular physical product, and your printed images can be selected from any of the images you’ve purchased in digital format during the course of your Baby Plan. So if you’re considering multiple portrait sessions with us anyway, this is absolutely the way to go!
Your only commitment is to purchase a minimum of 5 digital images from each portrait session.
