On the day of your shoot, we’ll work with you to create a stunning collection of maternity portraits. Karen will guide and assist you every step of the way to create the most flattering poses, for images that you’ll cherish forever… You’ll leave with a beautiful collection of new memories from this very special experience.

VIEW & SELECT YOUR FAVOURITE IMAGES

After the shoot, we’ll meticulously edit and retouch every image before inviting you back to view the final gallery and choose your favourites.

The best maternity portraits take place between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy – we want you looking visibly pregnant, but also still be comfortable enough to enjoy your portrait session. At this stage, your bump is beautifully defined, but you should still be comfortable enough to move and pose, as we guide you into the most flattering poses for your maternity portraits.

Please note that as a leading maternity photographer in Crawley, our diary can fill up quickly, so we recommend booking early in your second trimester to secure your preferred date.

If we need to tweak the exactdate of your maternity portraits a bit closer to the time, this is no problem, and can be done online.

Absolutely! It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous – and we deal with ‘normal’ people (notmodels) – so we completely understand that most people don’t feel natural in front of the camera. That’s why you book with us!

Absolutely. We love capturing the connection between you and your partner. For a standard maternity portrait session, you have the option to include a few portraits with your partner at no extra cost. If you book a mini-session, this can be added as an optional extra.


Our Copthorne studio is a relaxed space where we make sure everyone feels at ease, resulting in genuine, emotive portraits.


You don’t need to – but you can if you want to add a more personal touch.

Our Crawley photography studio features a dedicated maternity wardrobe with a selection of elegant gowns, silk drapes, and lace fabrics designed to flatter the pregnant form. During our pre-session consultation, we’ll discuss the style you love—whether that’s high-end fine art, soft and natural, or intimate silhouettes.

All maternity sessions include free use of our in-studio maternity gowns at no extra charge.

Our home studio is located in the quiet village of Copthorne, West Sussex, just off the A264. We are just a 5- minute drive from junction 10 of the M23motorway, and being a home studio ensures a relaxed, private, temperature-controlled environment witheasy parking – meaning a stress-free experience for all our expectant Crawley and Sussex Mums-to-be!

We are very easy to find! We are just a 10-minute drive from Crawley, 10 minutes from East Grinstead, and about 15-20 minutes from Horsham. We offer private, off-road parking right outside our driveway, so you won’t have to worry about long walks or busy car parks. This means we are perfectly positioned for families searching for a maternity photographer in Crawley or the surrounding areas.

Maternity photoshoots generally take place on Monday to Thursday mornings. However, we also offer limited weekends, subject to availability and a small weekend premium (please contact us directly).

All images are fully edited and retouched before we show them to you. Images are usually ready for viewing within 2 weeks (often less).
