Because we know babies rarely arrive on their due date, our system allows you to easily adjust your appointment online if your new arrival decides to show up early or late. To prepare you for the session, we’ll also provide all the information your’ll need to get the very best newborn portraits during your photoshoot with us.

Escape the congestion of the A22 and the parking struggles of Redhill or Reigate. Our studio is a peaceful, temperature-controlled retreat located just a straightforward 17-minute drive from Godstone Green.

This is your time to chill and relax while we handle everything for you. We’ll gently guide your new baby through a series of safe and sophisticated poses, right in front of you. You’ll leave the studio with a new set of beautiful memories, having watched your baby’s first photoshoot captured in a setting designed for total tranquility.

Once your session concludes, our work moves behind the scenes. We spend significant time hand-retouching each individual image to a professional, fine-art standard.

The best newborn portraits take place at just 7 to 10 days old – or no later than 2 weeks old if possible. We strongly recommend booking early (while pregnant) if at all possible.

For the best results, we recommend booking after your 20-week scan. The ideal window for those sleepy, curled-up portraits is between 7 and 14 days old, though we can capture beautiful “older newborn” images up to 6 weeks.

If we need to change your exact shoot date later, that’s no problem (see below).

Many parents in Godstone initially consider a home shoot for convenience, but soon realise that preparing a house for a professional photographer while caring for a newborn can be incredibly stressful. Our studio removes that burden entirely.

By choosing our specialised studio, you don’t have to worry about clearing clutter, finding the right light, or heating your home to the high temperatures newborns require for those sleepy, curled poses. We provide a perfectly controlled, pre-heated environment filled with our entire collection of luxury props, backdrops and accessories. You simply show up, relax on our sofa, and let us handle everything in a space designed specifically for newborn safety and high-end results.

Don’t worry—babies rarely read the script! Because our studio is a dedicated, calm sanctuary based in our own home, we never rush a session. We follow a strictly baby-led approach, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and cuddles. With over 15 years of experience, we’ve seen it all, and our patient, gentle techniques ensure we capture beautiful portraits even if your little one takes a while to settle. Our goal is for you to leave feeling relaxed, not stressed.

If your baby is already born, we recommend using our online scheduler to book a date as soon as possible. If your baby is already 2 weeks or older, we can still create a set of beautiful baby pictures for you… But your session may include simpler poses and more dressed or wrapped images.

Our award-winning studio is located in the quiet village of Copthorne, making it a straightforward drive for families travelling from Godstone Green (less than 20 minutes via the A22). Sessions are held on weekday mornings when babies are typically at their sleepiest and most settled.

Because the “newborn window” is so short, we aim to document your baby within their first 7 to 14 days. We recommend booking your provisional slot shortly after your 20-week scan to guarantee space in our diary. Once you arrive, you’ll have exclusive use of our cosy home studio, ensuring a private, calm, and unhurried experience from start to finish.

Limited weekends are available, subject to availability, and a small weekend premium (please contact us directly).

Yes, of course! Digital images are included in all our newborn photo shoot packages – and all newborn sessions also include the option to add additional digital (or printed) images if you want to. In fact, after enjoying their newborn photoshoot, we find that most people want to upgrade to all the images we’ve created for them! 🙂

You can add extra digital images, either individually or as a complete set of all files (this also includes a beautiful, ultra-high-resolution animated slideshow set to music). Customers who pre-purchase all files can do so without returning to the studio for a viewing and ordering session, if they choose.

All images are meticulously edited and retouched to perfection, before we show them to you… So there will be a short wait while we prepare your images after your portrait session – but not too long! Images are usually ready within 2 weeks (often less).
